Kickin' it Old School

Well needless to say with track season starting and the second semester in full swing life is crazy busy.  So crazy busy that I haven't had a chance to sit down here in what feels like forever!

So some quick updates...
Track season is in full swing and I finally feel like I am in the groove of things...of course outdoor meets haven't started yet so I'm sure I will get back to you once those start with a new level of stress.

Maverick is awesome and adorable as ever.  He is a very clever escape artist whenever my mom comes over...I thought he liked Grandma.  I could be wrong!

I have recently reconnected with two of "old" friends that I haven't seen in a while and I couldn't be happier!  They are so fun and I feel relieved to have some separation from the craziness that is the everyday around here.

I think that is everything major...other than that I am currently my hair is currently red/violet...total sass!  I'm in love with it!

Last night was Old People Club at Wyld Life and it was so fun!
To see what kids thought of old people was humorous and every entertaining!

One of the games we played tested their memory which was so fun because they didn't have a strategy like we (the leaders) had when we tried it.  
                        
We had fun and I could so tell who was competitive and who wasn't as competitive!  Also to hear the stories that Sarah was making up about these pictures that we were using to play memory were hilarious.  

And that is what it is all about...having fun and relaxing!  Midweek is usually so busy for me but sometimes you just have to have faith that things will get done in their own time because hanging out with some awesome kids is way more important!
